Now back on deck after a week on the road.  It was a good trip - got to see around 36 prospective retailers.  Some good interest but in general it will be a 'wait and see' game as to who will take us on.

As you would guess there is a lot of imported product out there - and it is very difficult for the customer and end user to know that there are alternatives that are not expensive and offer better quality.

Follow up is the key... I will spend the next 4-6 weeks following up on each of the PR's and keep our name out there.  We will secure more retailers - it is not if but simply when.

OK, that's it for now... the animals are calling for their morning feed...

OK, back in town after a fair bit of mileage... good to be back... travelling around meeting new retailers and pushing our product is all good stuff but so is getting home.

A good week in all - met some good new prospective retailers and there was a fair bit of interest in our products.  Only time will tell!

Next week I will follow up each of them with a call and fax...

The people in the office confirmed that one new retailer phoned through today and placed an order... excellent stuff!!!  Keep in coming in...

OK, going to relax in front of the tube and catch up on some Foxtel...

Hitting the tarmac tomorrow for 3 days to head up to Bundaberg and back again.  Going to drop in on furniture retailers in the small towns and cities between Brisbane and Bundaberg.  It will take around 3 days and during that time I should be able to drop in on around 20-30 retailers.

Its all about getting our name out there and in front of the retailers...

It'll be good... 

My wife and I went to the movies in the Valley on Friday night... the Centro on James...

We had a great dinner and then went to see White Masai - a very good film about a Swedish woman who marries a Masai warrior.  Very good cinematography, good music score and some great acting from an unknown cast. 

Well recommended for those looking for something a little different - not your 'run of the mill' commercial stuff...

Man the years have flown past so fast...

One of my sons turns 32 today - (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELTON... I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY) - and it seems like only yesterday that I remember playing with him in one of the Auckland parks when he was just a toddler...

Fantastic memories... he has always been a great son and continues to be so... 

It also makes re realise how important it is that we focus on quality time with our families and friends - times goes so fast and we cannot afford to waste time on arguments and non-productive fights...
